What's New in HYCU R-Cloud for Atlassian
This round of updates to HYCU R-Cloud for Atlassian is built around three moments: a Jira configuration change that breaks projects across your site, restricted Confluence pages that hold your most sensitive content, and a Confluence outage that takes your runbooks offline. It also brings in a way to see which AI agents can reach your Atlassian data. Here is what is new.
In-Place Restore of Jira Global Configuration
A single bad change to a shared scheme or a deleted custom field can ripple across every project that depends on it. You can now restore your Jira site's global configuration back into the original site, returning global workflows, schemes, custom fields, and issue types to the exact state they were in before the error or corruption.
The configuration comes back ready to use, with no scheme remapping or manual reconfiguration. Combined with cross-source configuration recovery, this gives you a safe path for change: test a configuration in a sandbox first, then restore it to your original site.
Protect and Recover Restricted Pages in Confluence
The Confluence pages with restrictions on them are often the ones that matter most: compliance documentation, incident runbooks, executive materials. Any Confluence page with restrictions can now be backed up and restored. These pages are recovered as part of your normal backup and restore workflow, so even your most sensitive content is covered without a separate process.
R-Serve for Confluence: Keep Working Through an Outage
When Confluence Cloud is unavailable, the runbooks, how-to guides, and troubleshooting steps your teams rely on go dark at the worst possible moment. A raw backup does not help much here, because backup data is not something a person can open and read in the middle of an incident.
That is why we built R-Serve for Confluence. It turns your latest Confluence backup into a browsable, offline copy of your content. You get a searchable index of your spaces, pages, and blog posts, with every page rendered with its formatting and attachments intact. It opens in any browser, with no Confluence login and no HYCU account needed by the people reading it. Nothing is written back into your live Confluence.
See Which AI Agents Can Reach Your Atlassian Data
AI agents such as Rovo now sign in, hold permissions, and act inside your organization alongside your employees. Many of them can write, not just read. An agent with write access to a system like Jira can change thousands of objects in the time it takes a person to open an alert, and most backup scopes were set before agents arrived.
HYCU aiR Graph discovers the AI agents in your organization using read-only access. For each one, it shows who can invoke it, what it can reach, and whether HYCU R-Cloud protects the applications behind that access today. Every finding comes from explicit rules over your own directory data. aiR Graph is free for HYCU customers, partners, and prospects. See how aiR Graph works.
