Safer Data for a Safer AI World: Why I Joined HYCU
When I left Google Cloud, I wrote that agentic AI would fundamentally change how organizations build, secure, and operate. I said that's where I'd focus next.
It turned out to be HYCU.
A few months ago, I joined HYCU as Chief Product Officer. I'm grateful to Simon Taylor for the trust he placed in me to help lead product at this moment in the company's growth.
Since joining, I've spent time with our teams across the US, EMEA, and APAC, meeting customers and partners across every region we serve. One theme kept emerging from those conversations, no matter the geography or industry: the future of AI depends on the resilience of the data it acts on.
The Speed Problem Nobody Priced In
Applications used to be where people worked. Increasingly, they're where agents work.

The visibility gap this creates isn't new. Security and IT teams have talked about visibility gaps for years. What's new is the speed at which those gaps now matter.
