HYCU Launches New Global Partner Program
When I joined HYCU earlier this year, I was looking to take my channel experience to a company that was 100% partner focused while making a difference in the market with cutting-edge technology. Not just a minor difference but a company that was truly introducing something new and fundamentally different. HYCU, Inc is that company. It goes beyond being first to develop and deliver purpose-built data protection for Nutanix Enterprise Cloud customers. As we all know, having great technology is just one aspect of a company and how you can tell if a company will be successful or not. It’s also the people, the partners and the customers.
I am blessed in that I joined and am partnering with an extremely talented executive team. In addition, being channel-focused is not words on paper. It is something that the whole company believes in and is in everyone’s DNA. We are not successful if our partners are not successful first and foremost. It’s with this in mind, that I spent the first few months meeting with existing partners listening to them about what was working well with the existing partner program and what they would love to see us do more of, and what else we could add that would help make them even more successful. It was a busy few months, but I am happy to launch the new HYCU Global Partner Program.
If I had to describe our Global Partner Program, I would describe it in two words, simple and easy.
It’s very similar to the approach we have taken with our product offerings. The new Global Partner Program has two primary partner levels – Authorized and Premier. Authorized is intended for new partners as they start to build their business with HYCU. At the Authorized Level, Partners qualify for Deal Registration and standard partner margin discount. We provide enablement tools and marketing resources via our newly launched Partner Portal. In addition, Partners receive software for internal use and inclusion in our upcoming partner locator. The Premier Partner Level is intended for Partners that commit to $50,000 of HYCU products and support revenue annually. This level not only provides all of the benefits received by Authorized Partners but also includes a higher margin benefit for Deal Registration and ability to apply for join marketing funds.
We are also announcing a Global Solution Provider Level for partners that have a global presence. And, as we are 100% partner focused, we continue to work through Distribution Partners to provide value added services and support for HYCU Partners.
I am thrilled about our new Global Partner Program, and the feedback we’ve received from existing and new partners alike. It has been invaluable and was key to helping us shape our new Program.
